Hey, where are the pet photos??
I have a stack of excellent pet photos to show you all and I'd planned to have them ready today. I also planned to watch two hours of Coro last night. Unfortunately, though, last night turned into a total nightmare. There's nothing like living next to a park and then hearing a young child screaming in such a way that you actually feel obliged to call the police to make for an unusual night (or to turn you into a blubbering mess). Turns out, thankfully, that it was just one of the neighbourhood kids throwing an extreme tanty (in his own house, not the park) - the poor sod had just wanted to go to scouts with his big brother (and by the time a policeman came knocking on his door he was happy as larry watching The Simpsons).
So, expect a pet picture extravaganza awaiting you on Monday morning, rather than today. And I know there are a still a lot of you with potential pictures to send, so leave me a comment or email me your photos! Pet week is officially being extended.
(I truly can't wait to show you the photo of one reader's cat watching Coro...)
Have a good weekend everyone!

Sounds like a bad night. Better that you called the police than not. Might teach the kid a lesson about tantys too
Well done Angela...hopefully someone like you is around if I ever start yelling for help. These days I probably wouldn't go outside to help but I would definitely call the police if I was concerned.
What a caring citizen you are neugeblogger - well done for calling the cops, you never know what the trouble could be. It's a wonder people don't call the cops re: my kids yelling and fighting. Luckily watching Coro keeps them quiet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Good on you Angela. I can imagine it left you feeling rather shattered though. Have yourself a restful happy long weekend.
