What the??

Well, I can always tell if it's a really good episode of Coro because my dad calls up in an ad break! But, to be honest, by the time Coro finished I felt cheated, let down, betrayed almost. Did we really believe that Shelley could be so easily seduced by bad-boy-Charlie? I wasn't convinced - it was all too easy and too convenient and it reeked of bad writing just for the sake of a plot tiwst. Now, maybe it's okay for plots and characters to twist so uncontrollably on Shortland Street or Home and Away, or such other nonsense soaps, but it's not okay on our Coro. Things need a proper build-up!

Having said that, when I was searching for Shelley/Charlie photos for you I did come across another plot twist that may explain last night's writer's rash behaviour...but I won't spoil the surprise (and 'no', it's not the obvious Charlie 'thing')!

And, does anyone else think Eileen and Sean are looking more and more alike? They both had the same gaumless looks on their faces last night. And speaking of faces, did anyone else notice Tracey Barlow with no make-up? And Diggory's larger-than-life eyes magnified x10 in his glasses?

Charlie was pretty convincing. He turned on the charm big time, saying how he remembered all the good times and admitting he had given Shelley a hard time. "You pushed me to the very brink of sanity" etc, etc said Shelley. Then when he wanted to pull one last pint at the Rovers for old times sake .... I thought uh,oh! First the stolen kiss, then one thing led to another ...all the time I'm saying to the TV "No Shelley!!". As for him coldly slagging her off afterwards, then sauntering home munching pizza only to have his way with Tracey on the sofa!!! It was all too much. Thank God for all the other story lines ie Shaun ringing every Paul Jones in Sheffield! And Diggory's pizza scheme. Yes his eyes look enourmous - those glasses are ludicrously large and thick (they kinda match his rubbery lips though!) ....all in all a riveting episode. Can't wait for more.

Incidentally, there's a girl at the local ANZ who is a dead ringer for Shelley! True!

Do you think she'd be freaked out if I went in with a camera?

Anyone would think this was a serious Coro blog!

Yes, strange how everytime I mention Coro the comments dry up (except from Dierdre who always stays focused - kia ora Dierdre!)

I think we need some hot controversy next week - trouble is I can't think of anything. No doubt Coronet could come up with something though

Yes, I've been in a bit of a blog slump for the last two weeks so if you do come across any interesting websites or news, let me know and I'll post it up!

More snow photos perhaps? It is snowing again in Dunners.
Actually, another poll would be good.

I'll do a poll for Monday PLUS I have a wonderful surprise (you'll love it Dierdre...don't know if anyone else will, though).

I suppose it's Coronation Street related, then.
