Wilmslow...never heard of it until now...but on looking a little closer, Simon Gregson, who plays taxi boss Steve McDonald in Coronation Street, lives on Gravel Lane, Wilmslow while William Roache, who plays Ken Barlow in Coronation Street, lives on Meadow Way in Wilmslow along with Alex Ferguson, Manager of Manchester United, who resides on Sherbrook RisStratstone, Wilmslow. Some other interesting facts.. Wilmslow is accountable for one fifth of all £100,000 Aston-Martin sales nationally, Romany's Caravan, located near to the library is Britain's smallest tourist attraction and more champagne is sold in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge each month than in any other place in the UK. Wilmslow sounds like an interesting place to visit should you ever be in the area.
I don't know that I would want to stay too long in Wilmslow. With all the Champagne and Aston-Martins sold in Wilmslow I suspect Wilmslow retailers know exactly what the market will bear and charge accordingly.
Wilmslow must be a lovely place wht with all them fancy cars and champagne. Does Steve take his taxi to Wilmslow I wonder? Can't imagine him drinking champers even in real life. Go Wilmslow!
I see there is a prison in Wilmslow (formerly Wilmslow children's home). Sure hope Kelly dosn't have to serve time in Wilmslow prison.
