Something else that I found at the Coro blog above were the results of a Pantene poll done in the Manchester Evening News about the worst haircuts in soap history. Bet Lynch's luscious locks topped the poll and Gail's grotty, dried out bowel cut came in second (where is the justice?) You can check out the original article at:

Yes we should definately have a "Coro quote of the week". Blanche gets all the best lines usually.
Nice to see a photo of Bet Lynch - she was a real Coro star back in the day. I always remember a scathing line Bet dealt Fred in the pub one day. Fred (a barman) was dressed to impress a woman and asked Bet how he looked. She coolly assessed him and said "I've seen wounds better dressed than that" !!! Classic Bet. Classic Coro
