Pet Week (...come on, at least it's not Wilmslow)
Speaking of pug dogs, here's my dad's pug, Oskar. The photos are from a while ago, though, and he's getting quite ol

Hopefully this week I can also introduce you to Dougall and Angus (they're not related to each other, despite their names). They belong to a couple of Kia Ora Coro's readers, though unfortunately Angus doesn't watch Coro because his owner flat-out refuses to let him (kia ora Angus, we're here for you). If anyone else has a pet or two (or more) they'd like to introduce, let me know or email me a photo. Of course, a photo of your pet watching Coro while wearing a beaded poncho would be ideal, but I realise it may asking too much at such short notice. (It's a shame really - it would be quite something to see.)

You won't believe this, but my new kitten actually DOES watch Coro - she is obsessed with the telly. I am going to try and get a picture tonight!
... not sure how amenable she will be to the beaded poncho though ...

Mel, if you ask nicely mum might put her paid-job on hold for the day, whip up a beaded poncho and get couriered down in time for Coro tonight.
And, no, unfortunately that's not a poncho that oskar's wearing :(
And excellent news - the pet pictures have been flooding in!! I'll get them posted tomorrow. If you want your pet posted, so to speak, you have until Friday to get a photo to me!

My pooch would hate being dressed in a poncho - he's very much into maintaining his staunch image. However, he will tolerate a tartan bow-tie for very special occasions.

Naah, just plain black & red tartan - no beading, no baubles, no bling.
Not that I'm a poncho snob. We used to have a pet chihuahua Benji - who seemed very proud of his various little jumpers.
Oh. What a lucky dog. Hmm.
