Potatoes

Well, not much happened on Coro last night, did it? Dev is so obsessed with Sunita that he's letting what's-her-name live with him, Kelly is so obsessed with what's-his-name's lack of support that she's "walked" and Shelley's feeling old and left-out (boo hoo).

What did strike me, as it always does, is how David always seems to be peeling the potatoes with a knife! This confuses me every time I see it. Is Manchester really still living like it's 1942? It's clear he's not using a "Y-Peeler" or an Australian peeler but is he using a knife or is he using a standard Lancashire peeler? Does anybody know? (I bet you didn't even know the names of those peelers, did you? No, neither did I, but I learn a lot on your behalf, dear readers).

We will all have to keep our eyes peeled (ha ha ha) to see what he's using. Maybe we could send one over to the set?

Yes I agree, peeling potatoes with a knife is an accident waiting to happen. What are they - living in the stone age? And why do they peel sitting at the table? Anyone knows it's quicker and more ergonomic to peel standing at the sink for heavens sake! I also hate the way Gail is always doing the laundry in the kitchen. It is against building law (and probably hygiene law) in NZ to have clothes washing facilities in a kitchen. So although the English seemingly all want/love their washing machine in the kitchen it just irritates me when Gail is stuffing grubby sheets etc into her machine under the bench.
Dev is a pratt - he needs to be kinder to poor Amber. I'm pleased to hear she's moving in. The street needs more teen angst.
Poor, poor Kelly - I'm going to start a seperate Kelly fan club I think. If I ever see that bitch Becky again .......!!...

Whoa Dierdre, I know it's been a long day but let's mind the language!

I know what you mean about the washing - all their clothes must be tainted with the smell of sausage, egg and...potatoes!!!
