Sharing circle

I'd just like to share a couple of great web cam sites with you, since things are quiet on the Coro front.

The first is Cheddar Vision. If you enjoy watching paint dry then you will definitely enjoy watching this cheddar mature! The cheese takes 365 days to reach its optimum eating point and the cheese makers at the site even provide a countdown so you can watch the seconds tick by. Apparently, at around 10am-England-time things heat up quite considerably because someone comes and turns the cheese! Alas, I didn't see anyone there last night but the cheese did look far more impressive with light streaming through the windows (you could even see other cheeses in the background!!)

The next is Alpaca Cam. If you enjoyed the peacefulness of the cheddar you may find this site a little too exciting because there are real live Alpacas eating, walking, sleeping, etc. When you go the site it may take you to the birthing barn but the camera in there isn't a live feed. Instead, select 'Alpaca Cam Streaming Video' from the left-hand menu. You may need to click install and then refresh your screen, but this only takes a second or two and is well worth it!! Be aware that the Alpacas go to bed at about 3pm New Zealand time.

Enjoy!

And, Alpaca Cam is even more exciting today because most of them have been shaved (one has only been HALF shaved)!!! Oh the excitement.
